Smosh has grown from one of YouTube’s earliest sketch comedy channels into the largest independent, creator-led comedy brand on the internet. Shayne joined Smosh in 2015 and has been a prominent figure across various Smosh channels, including Smosh, Smosh Pit, and Smosh Games, contributing as an actor, writer, and director.

In addition to his work across Smosh’s main channels, Shayne serves as the host of the Smosh Pit series Reading Reddit Stories, where he leads discussions on viral and thought-provoking posts from Reddit alongside fellow cast members and guest collaborators.

Before joining Smosh, Shayne Topp built a diverse acting career that included work in television, film, and theater. He made his film debut in the 2006 film Moonpie, had a guest role in the Nickelodeon series iCarly, and gained early recognition for his performance in the Disney Channel sketch comedy show So Random! Shayne also appeared in independent films such as Dear Lemon Lima, and later played are curring role in the ABC sitcom The Goldbergs.
