Just for Laughs recognizes and respects the Kanien’kehá:ka as the traditional keepers of the unceded lands and waters on which we work.

Montreal, named as Tiohtià:ke (place where the rivers divide) by the Kanien’kehá:ka, has long served as a gathering place for many First Nations including the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Abenaki, Algonquin-Anishinaabe, Atikamekw, and Huron-Wendat.

Together, we pay our respects to these lands that have long been sites for exchange, humour and celebration.
