Jerry Seinfeld's comedy career took off after his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1981. Eight years later, he teamed up with comedian Larry David to create what would become the most successful sitcom in television history: Seinfeld.

The show aired on NBC for nine seasons, won numerous Emmy, Golden Globe, and People's Choice Awards, was named the greatest TV show of all time in 2009 by TV Guide, and was recognized in 2012 as the greatest sitcom of all time in a 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll.

His most recent projects for Netflix, both Emmy-nominated, include Jerry Before Seinfeld and 23 Hours to Kill, as well as the critically acclaimed web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Seinfeld has also acted in, written, or produced several films (Comedian, Bee Movie), directed and produced a Broadway hit (Colin Quinn: Long Story Short), and written three bestselling books (Is This Anything?, The Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Book, and Seinlanguage) as well as a children's book (Halloween). He also stars in the Emmy-nominated comedy film Unfrosted, which he directed, co-wrote, and produced. Seinfeld continues to perform stand-up comedy both in the United States and internationally.
