Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe opened on May 3, 1988 as Centrepointe Theatre. The grand opening starred “local boy” and internationally renowned entertainer and impressionist, Rich Little. Since then the theatre has hosted an extensive list of truly great artists performing to sold-out houses, including Sir Peter Ustinov, Christopher Plummer, Liona Boyd, Sarah McLachlan, Matthew Good, Our Lady Peace, Buddy Guy, Tom Cochrane, Boyz II Men, Bruce Cockburn, Andrea Martin, The Temptations, Rick Mercer, The Wild Kratts, Blue Rodeo, the Barenaked Ladies, Kids in the Hall, the Rankins, Leahy, Lyle Lovett, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Howie Mandel, Craig Ferguson, Steven Wright, The Trailer Park Boys, Jim Gaffigan, Richie Havens, Cowboy Junkies, Art Garfunkel, Gerry Dee, Norm MacDonald, Tom Green, Brent Butt, Randy Newman, John Prine, Irish Rovers, Mike MacDonald, Black Violin, Randy Bachman, Burton Cummings, Jim Belushi, Tokyo Police Club, Lisa Loeb, Ricky Skaggs, Graham Nash, Joe Jackson, Shaun Majumder, Indigo Girls, Kacey Musgraves, Harlem Gospel Choir, Russell Peters, Fred Penner and a great many others.

Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe has accessible seating locations, with seating available for patrons using mobility devices, as well as for those accompanied by support persons. We have designated accessible spaces and neighbouring companion seats in the orchestra level of the Mainstage, as well as in the gallery and orchestra levels in the Les Lye Studio Theatre. Accessible seating for those with visual, auditory or mobility disabilities are also available, upon request.  
To purchase tickets for accessible seating locations, please contact our call centre at 613-580-2700.  
If you have purchased tickets for seats that are not accessible to you, please contact a customer service agent at 613-580-2700 to explore possible accommodations.

At Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe, all exterior doors are equipped with automated openers. Upon arrival, please let our staff or volunteers know if you require any assistance.  
All washrooms are equipped with automated openers and have accessible stalls. The theatres’ parking lots also offer ample designated accessible parking close to the entrances.   

Assistive listening devices are available to patrons, upon request. They are free of charge; however, we do require a security deposit in the form of the patron's driver license, a major credit card, or car keys to ensure the safe return of the device.  
The audio system at Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe is an infrared audio receiver that requires the use of a handset and headset. Both are available either from the Coat Check located next to the Les Lye Studio Theatre, or by request from the House Manager. Patrons can borrow a set of the Theatres' headphones free of charge, purchase a set from the Theatres' staff, or use their own standard pin headset. The Patron's security deposit is left in a sealed envelope in a secured location during the event.

Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe welcomes all service animals into our auditoriums. When purchasing your tickets, please let our customer service agents know of any required accommodations to ensure you and your service animal are seated in an accessible area.  

The Les Lye Studio Theatre is equipped with a self-service elevator that can transport patrons to and from the lower lobby level. Currently there is no elevator to Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe's Main Stage balcony level. There is a lift to the lower level seating area in the orchestra for patrons with mobility disabilities who can transfer to a stationary theatre seat.  

If you have a temporary disability or injury and you have already purchased tickets to an event, please call our customer service agents at 613-580-2700 and, if possible, we will make the necessary arrangements for you to attend the event in a comfortable and accessible manner. When calling, please have the event, date, section, row, and seat available.  

While Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe does not formally check mobility devices, such as walkers or rollators, , we will always try to accommodate our patrons with their mobility devices. Please ask any of our theatre staff or volunteers for assistance. Please note that Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe is not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen mobility devices, as well as other items stored within the device.
