We strongly recommend arriving 30 minutes early. Some shows are filmed for possible broadcast, so it’s crucial to arrive at least 10 minutes before showtime. Late arrivals may be reseated.
For general admission shows, seating is first come, first served. Arriving early helps ensure a good spot!
Yes, merch is available at the Bazaar on the outdoor site.
For safety reasons, only guide dogs are permitted on festival grounds and in venues.
Unless otherwise specified as 18+, children are welcome at the various festival venues.

The outdoor site at Place des Festivals is open from 16 p.m. to 23 p.m. on event days.
Access to the outdoor site is completely free—just show up and enjoy the performances!
To make sure you get a good spot, we recommend arriving early — the site operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
Yes! Rain or shine, the shows go on.
Umbrellas are not allowed on site, so bring a raincoat.
In case of severe weather, check our social media for any cancellations.
Yes, but it must be empty upon arrival.
Free water fountains will be available throughout the festival grounds.
Yes, food concessions and bars will be available on the outdoor site.
You can pay with cash or card at food concessions and bars.
Yes! A public restroom station will be accessible to all festivalgoers.

Yes! Two free parking areas are available on-site and can accommodate over 300 bikes and skateboards:
- At the corner of Ontario St and Clark St (designated skateboard parking)
- At the corner of Président-Kennedy Ave and Jeanne-Mance St
Please note: the Festival is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Security staff will check bags upon arrival. Your cooperation helps ensure a safe and pleasant experience.
Prohibited items include:
- Chairs
- Professional cameras and video equipment
- Animals (except accredited service animals)
- Weapons and blunt objects
- Sticks, balls, and any kind of sports balls
- Glass bottles and containers
- Cans
- Alcoholic beverages
- Drugs (except medication)
- Water guns
- Coolers, thermoses
- Large backpacks, camping equipment
- Musical instruments and megaphones
- Laser pointers
- Meals
- Bicycles and skateboards (a bicycle parking area with a checkroom for skateboards is available near the site)
- Audio recorders
- Inline skates must be stored in a bag. They can be left at the bicycle parking checkroom
- Umbrellas
- Any other object that could pose a safety risk to festivalgoers
- Selling or soliciting on the Festival site
- Swimming in the fountains
Any inappropriate or dangerous behavior will result in removal from the site.
