Adapted services

We are proud to offer facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Reserving seats in the reduced-mobility zone (Beneva stage)

The Beneva stage has a dedicated area for our customers with reduced mobility.

Please note:

  • Reservations begin 2 days before the show and end at 4 p.m. on the day of the event. Requests can be made at [email protected] or by telephone from Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., at 514-492-1775 or 1 855 219-0576.
  • Zones are accessible as soon as the site opens at 5pm. Please refer to the site map to familiarize yourself with the access route to these areas.
  • For exiting zones after the end of shows, we recommend either leaving a few minutes before the end of the show or a few minutes after the end of the show to avoid people getting caught in the crowd.
  • Accompanying persons are accepted in the reduced-mobility zones.
  • The capacity of the reduced-mobility area on the Beneva stage is 14 people (including accompanying persons).

Wheelchair loans

We offer a free wheelchair loan service. To check availability and take advantage of this service, visit the Info-Rire kiosks, located at the corner of Sainte-Catherine and Jeanne-Mance streets, and at the corner of Maisonneuve and Saint-Urbain streets. Valid identification (driver's license or health insurance card) will be required. Wheelchairs must be returned before the site closes at 11 p.m.

Access to the Esplanade

The Place des Arts Esplanade (the area at the top of the stairs) overlooking rue Sainte-Catherine is accessible via boulevard De Maisonneuve, east of rue Jeanne-Mance, towards Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier.

Access to venues

To familiarize yourself with the accessibility of the various venues, please refer to their websites.

On-site facilities

A number of facilities have been installed to make it easier for people with reduced mobility to move around the site (wheelchairs, access ramps). Some access points are also indicated on the site map.

Sanitary areas

The sanitary areas also feature toilets adapted for people with reduced mobility. A specific logo identifies these areas. Adapted toilets are also available in buildings around the site, such as those in the Esplanade Tranquille, Place des Arts and Complexe Desjardins buildings.

Drop-off and pick-up point for adapted transport

People using the STM's paratransit service have the choice of being dropped off at two different locations (please mention this when booking):

  • 2020 rue De Bleury at the corner of Maisonneuve (opposite Place des arts metro station)
  • or at 287 Boulevard René Levesque at the corner of Jeanne-Mance.
